Core Objectives of the Partnership The collaboration is built on three main pillars designed to move students from theoretical knowledge to economic independence: Entrepreneurship Training: Integrating the "Balloon Enterprise Curriculum" into the college's vocational programs. This curriculum focuses on the "Lean Startup" methodology—teaching students how to test business ideas with minimal resources before scaling. Job Creation ("Good Jobs" Initiative): Balloon Ventures works with the college to identify high-potential graduates and local SMEs that can provide "Good Jobs." In this context, a "Good Job" is defined as one that is safe, pays a living wage, and provides a formal contract. Business Support & Financing: African Ark College who start their own enterprises, the partnership provides a pathway to access seed funding and micro-loans (typically ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 for growing businesses) coupled with intensive 1-on-1 management coaching. The organisation will support asset financing inform of classrooms,laboratories,hostiles and other resource rooms for the college.
